Lucy's spot is on my lap, so when the laptop takes her place, she just makes do! Good thing she's a skinny girl or the baby wouldn't appreciate it much!!

Football Time is Here Again!

Hayden is playing football for the school this year! GO TIMBERWOLVES! Today was his first official practice with pads and it was also picture day! Thought I'd take advantage of some photo opps since we won't be making his regular practices like we used to.....they start around 7am M-F!!

28 Week Ultrasound!!!

This was so wonderful! Hayden got to be there for our 28 week ultrasound! What a great experience for us all! He really enjoyed it and so did we!! Here are some pictures.....

"Will I Look Like My Grandpa John-John?"

What an honor to be able to name our son after our fathers! After losing my dad so unexpectedly, being able to carry on his name somehow makes me feel closer to him and almost like a little piece of him is still here.

It's so amazing that we tried to conceive for so long....each month getting more and more discouraged. And then to finally find out we were pregnant, on the very day he passed away 4 years earlier! Then to later learn it's a boy! What a wonderful sign that we're not alone!! God always does have a better plan; we just need to get out of the way!

I came across this picture of my dad when he was about a year old! What a cutie he was! Wonder if our little Johnny will look like him? Can't wait to find out!

28 weeks!

Here it is! The whale pants are still hanging on, but getting a bit snug! Not too sure I have 12 more weeks of room in this old body, but I guess I have no choice!

The Dog Park!

We took another trip to the dog park yesterday. On the way in we saw deer again - 3 beautiful bucks! Do we really live in a city of over a million people?! Strange to think this is smack dab in the middle of it! One of the many great things about San Antonio!

This sweet yellow lab knew where the treats were at all times! She was our best friend!

We're now putting bird seed on the sidewalk to attract more birds for Ellie! As you can see, it works pretty well! SHE LOVES THEM! It's our daily entertainment!

Summer Vacation 2009!

Our summer trip this year was an easy one! A 2-hour drive down to Corpus Christi and the Gulf Coast! It was such a nice family get-away! We spent a couple nights at the hotel and got to just take it slow and easy! We spent time on the beach, playing, relaxing, eating, laughing and just spending some great quality time together! Our last vacation as a family of 3!!
