Belly Video!!!

I was FINALLY able to catch some action on video! This baby moves like crazy, but usually freezes when I try to video him! Today was a different story! Basically, (I think) his butt/hip is what you'll see rise around the middle of my belly and you'll see his little foot race by on the right side. It's so amazing! We just sit and watch like it's formal entertainment!

It's so amazing that we get to meet him so soon! Such a surreal feeling! 3 more weeks to go from tomorrow! As of last Friday I am 80% effaced and 1cm dilated. That really doesn't determine much, but at least it's progress!! I'll so miss feeling him grow and move inside me, but I just can't wait to hold him in my arms and be his mom!

36 Weeks!

Well, here we are at 36 weeks.....some days feeling like one more day isn't possible! I had a doctor visit last Friday and there are some slight changes taking place (I'll leave out the details) which make her think I definitely won't be overdue! That is good news, but better news would be a few days early! ;) We'll see how things go. I'd like the little guy to cook as long as he needs to, but my back can't take much more!

Albert is off to his "Sons to Dads" class tonight at the hospital - so cute! He's so excited and ready to take on all that a newborn brings!

We put together the crib last night, even though he won't be using it right away. We can't wait! Now that I can say "4 more weeks!" it feels so close!

Catching Up!

Just trying to stay on top of things and catch up on posting some pictures before life gets crazy....er!

Sad day in the backyard for this little toad! Looks like he tried to come out a little bigger than he went in - Hayden and I both almost cried for the little guy. So sad, but so many situations like these in nature we don't even know about.

A spider eating (?) some sort of fly? Oh the things we find in the backyard!

Someone thinks this baby chair is better suited for her! She'll soon learn!
