49 Degree Water!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

This is a video of the 3rd Annual Arctic Swim at our neighborhood Rec Center. Hayden is in the middle in the blue shorts with green flowers. Albert & I were big babies - there was no way we were jumping in that water!

Oh, at the end you'll notice Hayden's the only kid without a towel - hmmmm.....how many times did I say, "Don't forget your towel!" before we left the house!? He survived - thank goodness for the fire pits and dry clothes to change into!!

Misc

Just a few miscellaneous pictures.....

If you've seen the San Antonio episode of Man vs Food - this is the Cinnamon Roll from Lulu's! It's HUGE and delicious!! :)

Had to get a picture of Albert and the drinking fountain at Jenna's b-day party! It was funny to watch him drink out of it too, but I didn't get a good shot. Him standing in line with these tiny girls was good enough.....check out the look on the face of the girl in front of him!!

Hayden just got done doing the Arctic Swim

Albert's baby pictures!

These are just too cute! Albert weighed 10 pounds, 4 1/4 ounces at birth - can you tell? Guess that's why Johnny wasn't exaclty a small baby!

Johnny's First Trip to the Park

We took a trip to Pedernales Falls State Park a few days after Thanksgiving. It was nice to get out, especially to such a beautiful place on such a wonderful day!

Grandpa Steve & Albert getting Johnny ready for the big hike! ;)

All Johnny!

Here are just a few random pictures I had to post! We can't get enough of him!

Just moments after arriving home from the hospital!

Ellie was NOT happy about the new addition! She investigated things VERY closely and then kept her distance for weeks! She's now coming around and thinking this baby thing isn't so bad....as long as she still gets plenty of attention!

A beautiful edible arrangement from family! Hit the spot!!!

Hayden getting a little feeding and burping 101!

Lots of Visitors!

We've been so blessed to have so many friends and family stop by to see our little Johnny! He's already loved by so many! Here's just a few.....

Grandpa Albert

Cousin Jenna, Aunt Suzette & Uncle John

Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Albert's parents & my brother Mark came over and my Mom & Steve who were still here visiting cooked an amazing dinner for us! It was really nice to have our first official Thanksgiving dinner in our house and also have it be celebrated with the excitement of a new addition!

John Albert Garza

On November 10, 2009 at 4:00pm our little Johnny was born! "Perfect" doesn't come close to describing the experience and everything about him! He weighed in at 9 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long! Thank goodness we decided to welcome him a week early!

He is such a beautiful addition to our lives. Albert has been completely transformed by his new little son! We can't put into words how amazing this experience has been for all of us!

Big brother Hayden ready to teach Johnny everything he needs to know!

Johnny doesn't know it yet, but he was named after a wonderful man! He gets his first name from his Grandpa John Howard Guilford who passed away in 2005. I know he was with us to welcome Johnny into the world and will be watching over him always!
