John Albert Garza

On November 10, 2009 at 4:00pm our little Johnny was born! "Perfect" doesn't come close to describing the experience and everything about him! He weighed in at 9 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long! Thank goodness we decided to welcome him a week early!

He is such a beautiful addition to our lives. Albert has been completely transformed by his new little son! We can't put into words how amazing this experience has been for all of us!

Big brother Hayden ready to teach Johnny everything he needs to know!

Johnny doesn't know it yet, but he was named after a wonderful man! He gets his first name from his Grandpa John Howard Guilford who passed away in 2005. I know he was with us to welcome Johnny into the world and will be watching over him always!

The Final Week Is Upon Us!!

Big news as of last Friday's doctor visit - they're inducing me a week early!!! Goodbye November 17th, hello the 10th!! Turns out Little Johnny isn't so little! He's already around 7.5 pounds and will be well over 9 if I make it to my due date which could cause delivery complications. So, our lives were put in fast-forward all of a sudden and we're going to have a baby in a week! Crazy to think I get to actually PLAN things out! No being awake for 48 hours straight before delivery and not knowing what to expect. It's so exciting and I can't believe we're really that close!! My next post will actually be of the little guy who's been growing inside me all this time!! AMAZING!

One Last Pregnant Party!

My amazing friends from the neighborhood took me out for a wonderful day of lunch, pedicures & a very thougtful gift over the weekend! I am so lucky to be so close to such a great group of ladies!! I hope we never move!!

Baby blue for me!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is such a fun time of year and so beautiful here in South Texas! We're so lucky to enjoy high 70s and low 80s which makes it such a wonderful time of year!

Rosie likes pumpkin carving too!

And both dogs like to eat the insides for some reason!

Hayden (left) won this year's pumpkin carving contest again! His was more creative as ususal, especially since Albert used a stencil! Go Hayden! 4 straight years!!

Party at Aunt Esther's - Albert & his dad were wrestlers! Watch out!

John (Tony Romo), Suzette (Jessica Simpson w/ her dog) & Jenna (Cowboy's cheerleader) - great costumes!!!

Lucy & Ellie had to get in the spirit again this year.....even if only just long enough for a picture!!

Eric, Hayden & Cole. We're so lucky to live in such a wonderful neighborhood with such great people! We had our annual cul-de-sac party and it was great as usual!

I think Albert got the most laughs! He put the "man twist" on Little Red Riding Hood - beer in his basket!!
