Miscellaneous

There is not a more appropriate title for this post than "Miscellaneous"!  As I sit here typing with a baby on my lap, I know if I try to be too creative with this post it will never get done!

What Johnny & I got for Christmas couldn't be wrapped.....a cold!  A pretty bad one too.  I ended up sick for 3+ weeks and the poor little guy ended up with a double ear infection and bronchitis.  Luckily he recovered really well, but not after many scary nights.  He would cough and cough and sometimes not know how to catch his breath.  We had to let him sleep in his little vibrating chair so he could be at a slight incline.  Here he is with Ellie watching over him! ;)
This is Johnny at about 2 months old.  He suddenly got very frustrated not being able to see what was going on.  The Bumbo chair came in very handy!  He wasn't quite stable in it, but little chunks of time being able to look around made him very happy!

We had some chilly temperatures this winter!  Hayden took my camera down to the Amenity Center and got some great pictures of the pool!  Great ice sculptures!  Nice photography Hayden!!

The cutest profile ever!!!  And just about every other pose too!! ;)

"My Daddy said I'm a 'Meximo'!"
Time for a walk in my new jogging stroller!
The whole family!

Hayden building Johnny a fort!

Johnny decided to be like a little wheel and spin in his sleep.  One morning he was completely upside down.

Never a shortage of smiles!

All clean!

I caught this face with my phone!  SO CUTE!

Time for the saucer!  He's a little short just yet, but BOY does he like to be up and able to see what's going on!

A little man!

Ever wonder what you look like right in the middle of a sneeze?

Johnny's first trip to Guadalupe State Park!

A nice warm February day!

"It's so nice to be able to stretch out!"

"You make me laugh brother!"
SO CUTE!
So close to rolling over!  Just a liiiiittle bit more!

Hayden had to pull weeds in the front yard and his friends showed up to help.  I told them thanks and they replied, "We're only doing it so Hayden can play sooner."  Ahhhh, honesty!

Hanging out in the front yard we got a visit from our good neighbors Michelle and Hannah!  Of course they wanted some lovin' from Johnny!

"All these women!  How you doin'!?"

And then Miss Kelly showed up in her Camero and scared the poor kid!  Good boy!  You should be very afraid of hot women in hot cars!

Grandma Janet's Visit!

I started back to work on January 19th and lucky for me my mom came to stay for a few weeks to watch after Johnny!  Oh, and to cook for us!! Not sure which we appreciated more!!  She had a lot of fun with both Johnny & Hayden and of course we all missed her as soon as she left!  Here are some pictures from her stay!

Grandma Janet took LOTS of pictures while she was here!

She caught the many, many faces of Johnny!  Her rendition of "White Christmas" brought a smile to his face every time!!

And it brought out some funny faces too!

I came home from work one day to find Grandma Janet upstairs in her room with all the sleeping babies!

 Silly Grandma Janet!!

Grandma Janet got to read Johnny the book she got him for Christmas for the first time!
He paid very close attention to every word!

Not many 12 year old boys can say their 60-something year old Grandma went hiking through the wilderness with them to shoot a slingshot....and that it was Grandma's slingshot!!  Hayden's one lucky kid!  He can always count on Grandma Janet to do something physical and outdoors with him!
Grandma Janet even climbed up into the tree-house with him!
"Bye-bye Grandma Janet!  Thanks for taking care of me and my family!!  Come back soon!"
