24 Weeks!

This baby is definitely growing! I found some pictures the other day from when I was pregnant with Hayden. I'm at least twice the size I was with him at this stage! I know they say you're bigger the second time around, but JEESH!

All is well overall, just feeling the affects the disproportionate weight is having on my body! So far no patients have been kicked in the head, but any day now it's bound to happen! It's sure to be funny and a first for both of us!

Hayden will be home next week! I haven't seen him since I was about 16 weeks along. Wonder what he'll think of the changes!?

Never a dull moment with Ellie around!

A bird is all she needs to keep her busy and keep us laughing!

Good news....and some bad!

The baby birds are growing fast! This is only 5 days since the last pictures! Sadly there is one missing. Not sure what happened, but that's nature I guess. Mama bird is much more protective now - she was keeping a very close eye on us and even flew near us a couple times before landing on the house to observe! What a good mommy!!

New Arrivals.....Already!

It's a good thing I got the picture of the eggs 3 days ago! Here they are, all but one who still needs to hatch! Cutest things ever!! Tough to photograph since when they hear/feel the tree move, they all open up and wait for mama to feed them - very wiggly! After a few seconds of that, they collapse at the same time....as you can see! They are just so adorable! It's going to be so fun to watch them grow!

More Babies!

Looks like we're not the only ones planning for new arrivals this year! A bird decided to make a nest in one of our tiny new oak tress in the front yard! Even though the tree is only about 10 feet tall, she picked a great place - almost like a cave in the branches! Definitely safe from harm! Now we get to watch her babies grow too!

We had another doctor visit yesterday. Everything went great. However, to no surprise, I'm measuring about 1-2 weeks larger than I should be. I had a feeling that was the case! No concerns just yet. We'll just hope things even out and he doesn't grow to 10 pounds 4 ounces like his dad! If it seems we may be heading in that direction later down the road, we might see this little guy about a week early!
